A Harbornet setup takes twenty-four to forty-eight hours if the computer is in working order. This means we configure existing software and, in the case of DSL or Cable, install a network interface card. If you would like other work performed it then becomes a repair and will take additional time. The first Harbornet setup is free and a re-setup is $35 charge. If a network interface card is installed there will be an additional fee.
Repairs take approximately 10 working days. Working Days are Monday - Friday. Saturday is not considered a working day due to the limited staff on hand, therefore, Harbornet set-ups left late Friday may not be ready until the following Monday. Charges for repairs are a minimum one-hour shop fee of $45 and $65 for additional hours.
We take appointments and rushes on a limited basis, based on our current work load and staffing level. A rush or an appointment means your computer will be placed at the beginning of the line and the next to go on the bench. In the case of either, there is no guarantee the work will be completed the day you leave the machine and most likely it won't. In the case of a rush, a $65 dollar fee is assessed as well as the regular shop fees.
